How to Play Knowigo
Knowigo is a real-time guessing game you play with friends. There's no question bank — the questions and the answers all come from you. A full round is the four steps below and takes about 10-15 minutes.
The flow of a game
1. Create a room, share the code
One of you opens a room and picks the mode and question count. Everyone else joins with the 6-character code.
2-6 players. No sign-up required.
2. You write the questions and answers
Everyone writes questions made for your group. Then you prepare one true and three fake answers for the questions you're given.
3. Guess and score
Questions come up one by one and you race the clock to spot the real answer. Every correct guess is 50 points.
4. A reckoning after every question
The correct answer, who fell for what, and the live scoreboard are revealed. At the end, one of you is crowned.
How scoring works
Every correct guess is 50 points. In Bluff mode you also earn 50 points for each player who falls for the fake answer you made up. In Betting mode you start with 200 points and can play each question safe (+50 correct, 0 wrong), at 2x (±100) or at 3x (±150) — your balance never goes below zero. After every question a screen shows who played what and the live standings.

- 2-6 players. Bluff mode needs at least 3.
- A phone, tablet or computer each, and an internet connection.
